Modalert is a prescription medicine used to treat narcolepsy, a sleep-wake cycle disease, and Obstructive Sleep Apnea, a condition in which breathing pauses for a brief amount of time or is shallow, resulting in a lack of sleep at night and daytime lethargy. It improves wakefulness and helps you stay awake during the day, as well as decreasing the tendency to nod off during the day and restoring your usual sleep pattern. Modalert 200 is also used to treat extreme sleepiness in those who work shifts and don't have a regular sleeping routine.
