Hi, I m thinking of buying an integrated amp that has low noise and good sound quality for my sound system setup. I am using speakers which are the old KEF1005 series and I want some improvement in the bass output. I used this amplifier "Pioneer SA-8500" earlier but it was having no difference in the bass output. Please help me with this issue.

Integrated amplifiers are basically designed for providing power amplification to your speakers with a built-in pre-amplifier section or DAC. They do not offer any significant advantage separates if you're looking at the pure sound quality. In fact, they can often be a disadvantage since most integrated amps with pre-amp out will have no internal amplifier to drive your power amplifier when using separates.

Some very high-end units do offer active speaker outputs, but these are mainly inexpensive separates and not integrated amplifiers. With that said, the primary advantage of a good quality integrated amp over separates is convenience and typically lower cost in terms of per channel costs.

Of course, there are also some other considerations such as size and weight when considering separates vs an integrated amp. I don't recommend going through all the trouble of testing multiple devices to find one with low noise unless you're really after every last bit of performance from your system or you simply prefer to use
